This version is free. It has no purchases, advertising SDK, account system, or cloud library sync. We do not integrate a separate developer analytics SDK. Google Cast and hosting infrastructure may process technical information as described below.
Your library
Source addresses, channel names, favorites and recent playback history are stored in the app’s private storage. Files you choose to import are copied into that storage so they remain available after picker permissions end. Removing a source or imported file deletes the app’s copy; it does not delete the original on your device. Clearing app data or uninstalling removes the local library. Android backup is disabled.
Network connections
When you add or refresh a URL, play a network stream, prepare a muted preview or load channel artwork, the app connects to the addresses in your source. Those servers receive your IP address and any credentials contained in the address. Their privacy practices are their own. Only add sources you trust and are allowed to access. Some sources use unencrypted HTTP.
Preview images
While the library screen is visible, the app may briefly connect to a limited number of your channels to check playback and create preview images. These requests are silent and stop when you leave the screen or start watching. Images are cached only on your device with a size and age limit. Locking or deleting a source removes its preview images.
Passcodes
A playlist PIN hides its channels until you unlock it in the current app session. A salted verifier is stored instead of the PIN. PINs do not encrypt imported media. There is no PIN recovery service; a forgotten PIN requires deleting and re-adding the source.
Support
If you choose Support, your email app prepares a message to bananateamandroid@gmail.com. You decide what to send. The app does not automatically attach your playlist, files or stream addresses.
Casting
When you choose a Cast device, Google Cast connects to that receiver and receives the media address, title and playback commands. For an imported file, the app serves the selected video to the receiver over your local network using a temporary address. Sharing ends when the session ends or the source is removed or locked. Video already received by a TV cannot be recalled. The Google Cast Android Sender SDK sends anonymized session events, device information and generic playback attributes to Google for usage analysis and performance improvements. According to Google’s Cast SDK disclosure, those analytics do not include content titles or content URLs, are encrypted in transit, and cannot be opted out of or deleted by us or by users through the SDK. Legal website
These legal pages are hosted through Cloudflare. When you open them, Cloudflare processes connection information such as your IP address and request details to deliver and protect the website. We do not use advertising or set cookies in the legal-page application. Cloudflare’s domain-level services may insert performance measurement code; these pages restrict script execution.
