Who this policy covers

This Privacy Policy applies to the Android application TrueVPN: Fast & Secure (the “App”), package com.banana.fastvpn.truevpn, and the supporting server-list and server-detail APIs used by the App.

TrueVPN is operated by the publisher identified on its Google Play listing (“TrueVPN,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). It does not cover websites, apps, VPN endpoints, or services that you choose independently, including services referenced by a custom OpenVPN profile.

Data we process

Data processed by our API and infrastructure

• Installation identifier: the App creates a random identifier for an installation. It is used for request rate limiting, service security, and abuse prevention. It is not an advertising ID.
• Server selection: when server details are needed, the App sends the identifier of the selected managed server to our API.
• Play Integrity security data: when the App requests protected managed-server details, Google Play creates an encrypted integrity token bound to that request. Our API asks Google Play to decode it and checks app recognition, Play licensing, device integrity, request binding, and token freshness. The raw token and decoded verdict are not stored in our server-detail database.
• Network and request metadata: our API, Cloudflare, and related security infrastructure may process your IP address, request time, protocol information, and technical security signals that are normally transmitted with an internet request.
• VPN connection metadata: a managed VPN endpoint or its infrastructure provider may process your source IP address, selected endpoint, connection time, duration, and traffic volume as technically necessary to establish, maintain, secure, and troubleshoot a VPN session.

Data stored locally on your device

• Imported OpenVPN profiles: profile content, credentials embedded by you, certificates, keys, profile name, and related metadata remain on your device. Sensitive profile content is encrypted using Android Keystore-backed protection.
• App preferences: onboarding completion, server favorites, recent selection, settings, and similar preferences.
• Session status and statistics: connection state, elapsed time, and live download/upload rate used to display the current session. These are not used to build an advertising profile.
• Cached server data: public server-list information and temporarily cached server details used to make connection setup faster.

How we use data

We process the limited data described above to:

• provide the server catalog, retrieve the selected server configuration, and establish the VPN tunnel you request;
• display connection status and live session statistics;
• remember your preferences and protect imported profiles on your device;
• verify eligible Play installations, authorize a short-lived request for one managed server, secure the API and VPN infrastructure, limit automated abuse, investigate failures, and maintain reliability;
• comply with applicable law and enforce our Terms of Use.

We do not use VPN traffic to create advertising profiles, inject ads, or redirect or manipulate traffic for monetization.

How VPN traffic is handled

Android’s VpnService permission allows TrueVPN to create a system VPN interface. When you choose Connect and approve Android’s VPN prompt, device traffic covered by the tunnel is encrypted between your device and the selected VPN endpoint. The endpoint then forwards traffic toward the internet.

The VPN endpoint can technically observe connection metadata and any traffic that is not separately protected by an end-to-end protocol. HTTPS and other end-to-end encryption continue to protect their content between your device and the destination, subject to those protocols. If you import a custom OpenVPN profile, the endpoint operator named in that profile—not TrueVPN—controls that endpoint’s data practices.

When data is shared

We do not sell your personal data or browsing content. Limited data may be processed by:

• Google Play: provides Play Integrity processing used to verify the App, Play license, device integrity, and request binding before protected server details are released. Google processes this data under its applicable privacy policy and service terms.
• Cloudflare: supports the API edge, network delivery, availability, and abuse protection for api-vpn.hiennv.dev. Cloudflare acts under its own privacy policy and service terms.
• Managed VPN infrastructure providers: operate or connect the VPN endpoints shown in the managed server catalog.
• Your chosen custom provider: receives traffic when you connect using an OpenVPN profile that you imported.
• Authorities or affected parties: when disclosure is reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect users, investigate abuse, or defend legal rights.

These providers receive only the data reasonably necessary for their role. Their independent practices may also apply, especially for custom endpoints selected by you.

How long data is kept

• Imported profiles, favorites, settings, and cached data remain on your device until you remove them, clear App data, or uninstall the App.
• The random installation identifier remains on your device until App data is cleared or the App is uninstalled.
• Raw Play Integrity tokens, decoded integrity verdicts, and short-lived server-detail authorization sessions are not stored in the server-detail database. They are processed transiently for request verification; service-provider security logs may be retained under the providers' applicable terms.
• API and infrastructure security records are kept only for as long as reasonably necessary to deliver, secure, troubleshoot, and comply with legal obligations, then deleted or de-identified where feasible.
• Retention controlled by Cloudflare, a managed endpoint provider, or a custom VPN provider is governed by that provider’s operational and legal requirements. We do not promise a fixed retention period for systems we do not control.

How we protect data

We use safeguards appropriate to the data and service, including HTTPS for API communication, Play Integrity verification and short-lived authorization for protected server details, Android Keystore-backed encryption for sensitive imported-profile content, and access controls around service infrastructure. VPN traffic is encrypted from the device to the selected VPN endpoint using the configured OpenVPN protocol and cipher suite.

No storage or transmission method is completely secure. You are responsible for keeping your device, screen lock, imported credentials, and custom VPN profiles protected.

Your choices and deletion options

• You control whether to grant Android’s VPN permission and when to connect or disconnect.
• You can remove imported profiles and favorites inside the App.
• You can erase all local App data from Android system settings or by uninstalling the App.
• The App currently has no user-account system, so there is no account to delete.
• For questions or requests concerning data held in systems we control, contact us at support@hiennv.dev. We may need reasonable information to verify and locate the relevant installation or request.

Depending on where you live, applicable law may give you additional rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing.

Children’s privacy

TrueVPN is not directed to children under 13, or the higher minimum age required in their jurisdiction, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children for advertising or profiling. If you believe a child has provided personal data through systems we control, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.

International processing

VPN routing is inherently international. The API, Cloudflare network, and selected VPN endpoint may process data in countries other than your own. Privacy laws and government-access rules can differ between locations. By selecting an endpoint, you instruct the App to establish the requested route, subject to applicable law.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the App, infrastructure, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top identifies the current version. Material changes will be communicated through the App, store listing, or another appropriate channel when required.

Cách chúng tôi sử dụng dữ liệu

Chúng tôi xử lý lượng dữ liệu giới hạn nêu trên để:

• cung cấp danh mục máy chủ, lấy cấu hình máy chủ đã chọn và thiết lập đường hầm VPN theo yêu cầu của bạn;
• hiển thị trạng thái kết nối cùng thống kê phiên trực tiếp;
• ghi nhớ tùy chọn và bảo vệ hồ sơ đã nhập trên thiết bị;
• xác minh bản cài đặt hợp lệ từ Google Play, cấp quyền ngắn hạn để lấy một máy chủ được quản lý, bảo vệ API và hạ tầng VPN, hạn chế lạm dụng tự động, điều tra lỗi và duy trì độ ổn định;
• tuân thủ pháp luật hiện hành và thực thi Điều khoản sử dụng.

Chúng tôi không sử dụng lưu lượng VPN để tạo hồ sơ quảng cáo, chèn quảng cáo, chuyển hướng hoặc thao túng lưu lượng nhằm kiếm tiền.

Cách lưu lượng VPN được xử lý

Quyền VpnService của Android cho phép TrueVPN tạo giao diện VPN ở cấp hệ thống. Khi bạn chọn Kết nối và chấp thuận hộp thoại VPN của Android, lưu lượng thiết bị thuộc phạm vi đường hầm được mã hóa từ thiết bị tới máy chủ VPN đã chọn. Máy chủ này sau đó chuyển tiếp lưu lượng ra Internet.

Máy chủ VPN có khả năng kỹ thuật nhìn thấy metadata kết nối và phần lưu lượng không được một giao thức đầu-cuối khác bảo vệ. HTTPS và các cơ chế mã hóa đầu-cuối khác tiếp tục bảo vệ nội dung giữa thiết bị và đích đến theo phạm vi của từng giao thức. Nếu bạn nhập hồ sơ OpenVPN tùy chỉnh, đơn vị vận hành máy chủ trong hồ sơ đó—không phải TrueVPN—kiểm soát cách máy chủ ấy xử lý dữ liệu.

Khi nào dữ liệu được chia sẻ

Các nhà cung cấp chỉ nhận dữ liệu cần thiết hợp lý cho vai trò của họ. Chính sách độc lập của họ cũng có thể áp dụng, đặc biệt với máy chủ tùy chỉnh do bạn lựa chọn.

Dữ liệu được giữ trong bao lâu

• Hồ sơ đã nhập, mục yêu thích, cài đặt và dữ liệu lưu đệm ở trên thiết bị cho đến khi bạn xóa chúng, xóa dữ liệu Ứng dụng hoặc gỡ cài đặt.

Cách chúng tôi bảo vệ dữ liệu

Không có phương thức lưu trữ hoặc truyền tải nào an toàn tuyệt đối. Bạn có trách nhiệm bảo vệ thiết bị, khóa màn hình, thông tin xác thực và hồ sơ VPN tùy chỉnh của mình.

Lựa chọn và cách xóa dữ liệu

• Bạn quyết định có cấp quyền VPN của Android hay không và thời điểm kết nối hoặc ngắt kết nối.
• Bạn có thể xóa hồ sơ đã nhập và máy chủ yêu thích trong Ứng dụng.
• Bạn có thể xóa toàn bộ dữ liệu cục bộ trong phần cài đặt hệ thống Android hoặc bằng cách gỡ Ứng dụng.
• Ứng dụng hiện không có hệ thống tài khoản người dùng nên không có tài khoản cần xóa.
• Với câu hỏi hoặc yêu cầu liên quan tới dữ liệu trong hệ thống do chúng tôi kiểm soát, hãy gửi email tới support@hiennv.dev. Chúng tôi có thể cần thông tin hợp lý để xác minh và tìm đúng bản cài đặt hoặc yêu cầu liên quan.

Tùy nơi cư trú, pháp luật hiện hành có thể trao cho bạn thêm quyền truy cập, chỉnh sửa, xóa, hạn chế hoặc phản đối một số hoạt động xử lý.

Quyền riêng tư của trẻ em

TrueVPN không hướng tới trẻ em dưới 13 tuổi hoặc độ tuổi tối thiểu cao hơn theo quy định tại nơi các em sinh sống. Chúng tôi không cố ý thu thập dữ liệu cá nhân của trẻ em để quảng cáo hoặc lập hồ sơ. Xử lý dữ liệu xuyên biên giới

Việc định tuyến VPN vốn có thể diễn ra xuyên biên giới. API, mạng Cloudflare và máy chủ VPN đã chọn có thể xử lý dữ liệu tại quốc gia khác nơi bạn sinh sống. Quy định quyền riêng tư và quyền truy cập của cơ quan nhà nước có thể khác nhau giữa các khu vực. Khi chọn một máy chủ, bạn yêu cầu Ứng dụng thiết lập tuyến kết nối tương ứng, trong phạm vi pháp luật cho phép.

Thay đổi chính sách

Chúng tôi có thể cập nhật chính sách khi Ứng dụng, hạ tầng hoặc yêu cầu pháp lý thay đổi. Ngày hiệu lực ở đầu trang xác định phiên bản hiện tại. Thay đổi quan trọng sẽ được thông báo qua Ứng dụng, trang cửa hàng hoặc kênh phù hợp khác khi có yêu cầu.
